D&S Relabel

FBA relabeling softwareScan the old FNSKU. The new label prints right away.

Import your client’s relabel list and the new label PDFs. Scan the barcode on the old label and the matching FNSKU label comes out of your label printer, with no print dialog. Barcodes that aren’t on the list are stopped on the spot. We built it for relabeling in our own warehouse near Boston, and it’s now open to other 3PLs and prep centers for a free trial.

How it works

The costly mistake is the wrong label. Now the job is scan and stick.

Relabeling by hand means looking up each new FNSKU on a spreadsheet, then finding the right label in a stack. On a busy day, somebody grabs the wrong one. Once a mislabeled unit is checked in at Amazon, it counts as a different product and is hard to trace. The D&S Relabel System does the lookup and the matching, so your team only scans and sticks.

Relabel workstation: scan the old label, the system checks the list, the label printer prints the new label, stick it on and box the unit BOX 01
  1. Scan the old labelA USB scanner reads the old FNSKU on the unit. No mouse needed.
  2. Checked against the listThe system finds the matching new FNSKU, or stops the scan with a red screen.
  3. New label printsStraight to your label printer, with no print dialog.
  4. Stick it, next unitProgress and box number are tracked for you.
Features

Built for the relabeling floor

Every feature comes from relabeling work in our own warehouse.

One scan, one label

Scan and the new label prints. No print dialog and no picking a printer.

Mistakes stopped on the spot

Barcodes not on the list, barcodes without a label and units already relabeled get a red or yellow alert with a voice prompt. Nothing prints.

No guessing

If one old barcode maps to two different new ones, it isn’t imported. It’s listed for a person to resolve. Two old barcodes mapping to one new barcode work fine.

Hands off the mouse

New box, undo and reprint each have a command barcode. Stick them on the workstation and scan.

Survives a power cut

Progress saves on the computer automatically. Close the app or lose power, then pick up where you left off.

Counts itself

Done vs. planned, boxes, reprints and bad scans update live. Reprints aren’t counted twice, and undo takes one off.

Three languages

English, Chinese and Spanish. Scan prompts, voice prompts and the Excel export follow the language you pick.

Works with common label printers

Any label printer with a Windows driver. First-time setup walks you through paper size and print direction.

Step by step

One batch, start to finish

01 · Import

Your client’s spreadsheet, as is

No reformatting. Drop in the .xls, .xlsx or .csv relabel instructions your client sent.

  • The system finds the old barcode, new barcode and quantity columns and the header row. You confirm before importing.
  • Merged cells are handled, and quantities are counted once.
  • If one old barcode maps to two different new barcodes, it isn’t imported. It’s flagged for a person to check.

02 · Labels

Drop in a whole folder of label PDFs

The new FNSKU labels you download from Seller Central, one PDF per barcode.

  • Select many PDFs at once, or a whole folder.
  • Before you start, you see which new barcodes are still missing a label.
  • Labels are redrawn from the PDF before printing, so barcodes come out sharp.

03 · Scan

Scan the old label. The new one prints.

The new FNSKU, product name and box number show in large type, so your packer can double-check before sticking.

  • Done vs. planned, boxes, reprints and bad scans update live.
  • Going over the planned quantity shows a yellow warning and still prints by default. You can switch it to block.
  • Reprints aren’t counted. Undo takes the last unit off the count.

04 · Block

Wrong barcode? Stopped right there.

When it should stop, the printer stays quiet.

  • Not on the relabel list: red screen and a voice prompt. Nothing prints, and the unit goes aside.
  • Already has the new label: yellow warning, so it isn’t relabeled twice.
  • No label PDF for the new barcode: nothing prints until the label is added.
  • Every bad scan is logged and gets its own sheet in the export.

05 · Export

Export to Excel when you’re done

Finish a batch, click Export Excel, and send it to your client or keep it for billing.

  • Workload: units relabeled, units planned, reprints, boxes, bad scans.
  • Relabel summary: planned vs. done for each old and new barcode.
  • Packing list and by-box view: what went into each box.
  • Bad scans and scan log: a record of every scan.

Works with your WMS

Keep your WMS

The Relabel System handles one step on the floor: scanning old labels and printing new ones. It runs alongside the WMS you already use, with no data migration and no change to your inbound or outbound process.

Your data

Your clients’ data stays on your computer

  • Relabel lists, label PDFs and scan records stay on your own computer. They are never uploaded to our servers.
  • Each warehouse’s data is kept separate.
  • Our servers keep only account and license details, such as your warehouse and registered computers, plus label counts (numbers only).
  • See our Privacy Policy and the Relabel System Terms.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to replace my WMS?

No. The Relabel System only handles scanning old labels and printing new ones on the floor. It runs alongside your WMS with no data migration.

Are my clients’ relabel lists and labels uploaded to your servers?

No. Relabel lists, label PDFs and scan records stay on your own computer. Our servers keep only account and license details, such as your warehouse and registered computers, plus label counts (numbers only). See our Privacy Policy.

Which label printers work?

Any label printer that has a Windows driver and prints normally. 2 × 1 in labels are most common. First-time setup walks you through paper size and print direction.

What kind of barcode scanner do I need?

A standard plug-and-play USB scanner that reads 1D barcodes. It types like a keyboard, so there’s nothing extra to install.

How many computers can one warehouse use?

It’s licensed per computer, so add one for each workstation. Each computer works on its own and keeps its progress locally. To move work to another computer, use Back up progress and Restore backup.

Windows warned me during install. Is that normal?

Yes. The app is new and hasn’t been downloaded by many people yet, so your browser and Windows may warn you. Choose Keep when downloading, then More info → Run anyway when installing. See the setup guide.

How much does it cost? Can I try it first?

Yes. Start with a free trial and pay only if it works for you. For pricing, use the quote form or call us.
